Perhaps that is why I felt the need to begin this journey into the blogshpere. I read all of our local news outlets, and I do not agree with any of them. Now I know that the media is supposed to be unbiased; but let's face it, that never happens. Either we are stuck with the mainstream publication where everyone is trying to keep the peace, or we are smacked over the head on a daily basis with non-stop conspiracy theories.
I'll be honest with you folks (because I know that maybe 2 of you will actually read this), I'm not interested in kowtowing to anyone. However, I am also put off by the notion of spinning everything into a big deal that makes everyone irate.
We must face it. Torrid scandals sell, so that is what some focus on to make people pay attention. Established publications must sell ad space, so they need to keep the peace.
I do not promise my 2 or 3 readers any of that. I don't even promise either of you fine folks anything in between. I simply have a desire to speak my mind to someone other than my 2 toddlers on a daily basis. I'm not asking anyone out there to agree with me; because, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."
I'm not going to promise anyone out there that I am telling you the absolute truth. I am simply going to speak my mind as I see fit. Anything I discuss on this blog will be the opinion of me alone.
Speaking of me, my life is quite a simple one at this point in my journey of life. I am a housewife and a mother of 2 beautiful girls. My life consists of cooking, cleaning, changing diapers, teaching my babies how to walk an talk, and spending whatever free time I have bitching about politics. You may very well ask why my opinion matters. Really, it does not. That is why this is a blog. I get to say what I want.
Enjoy if you want. Flame if you want. It does not matter to me. I'm just going to say what I want an enjoy every second of it!
Happy reading,
